Day’s end, Puerto Vallarta

As the frosty, lime-tinged rim of my first Modelo cerveza graced my eager lips, I was greeted by a lovely silhouette of gently waving palms just beyond my reach, officially welcoming me to this spectacular seaside retreat. Ominous thunder clouds and distant patches of rain on the Pacific horizon began to yield to the glowing warmth of a persistent sun, now calling it a day. It was instant confirmation of the primary purpose of a passport stamp.

I love it when a destination transports me into a natural painting with a fluid canvas of tropical hues, especially on my very first day of the trip. Puerto Vallarta definitely did not disappoint during my recent visit, and the Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa provided the perfect ambience and stage for a highly dramatic close of the curtain to day 1.

Baja California Sur – A journey through Mexico’s “Desert Paradise”

“If you take Arizona and the Bahamas and mash them together, the result would be Baja California Sur.” ~ Gringo With A Green Bag (is it too douchey to quote oneself in this day and age?)

Here it is, fresh off the video press! Just finished my latest video feature, filmed in the exotic deserts and tantalizingly teeming seas of Baja California Sur, Mexico! Big thanks to my amigos at GoLaPaz.com and VisitBajaSur.travel for setting me up on an incredible adventure along the legendary and incomparably stunning Sea of Cortez. Jacques Cousteau was right, it sure is “The Aquarium of the World”. But he never mentioned those mouth-watering chocolate clams and those insane al pastor tacos! Dude, that alone is enough to get the masses down there!

I hope you enjoy my journey. Please don’t hesitate to visit this wonderful destination in Mexico…and be sure to tell em the Gringo With A Green Bag sent ya! 🙂  **Tours by Baja DesconocidaThe Cortez ClubDolphin Dive Baja and Harker Board Co.**

Lucha Libre training in Oaxaca, Mexico!

You know how when you go to some places, people like to tell you “don’t drink the water”? Well nobody ever advised me not to drink the mescal with scorpions floating at the bottom. So I did. On a recent trip to Oaxaca, Mexico – along with my tag team partner “El Gran Queso” – the Gringo With A Green Bag had a no-holds-barred experience in the excitingly cultured city of Oaxaca! Once the mask comes out, it’s game ON! Check out how it all went down right here…
